The Little School of Motoring was established in Carlisle in 2011 by me, Becky Wilcox. I fully qualified as an approved driving instructor (ADI) in April 2011 and I haven’t looked back!
After becoming fully qualified I asked myself why am I not working for myself? So after a little thought, I set up the Little School of Motoring.
I believe learning to drive should be fun. Therefore my lessons are designed to teach you to drive safely, yet enjoyably.
The freedom and independence gained from passing your test is immense and I can’t wait to be part of it.
I believe everyday is a school day. I will go above and beyond to get the results we need. I love my job and it'll be a pleasure to teach you to drive.
Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.

Grade B Instructor
Did you know that every ADI has a Standards Check? I received my check test in September 2022 and was graded by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with a level B.
Ordit Trained
Enjoy driving? Would you like to train others how to drive? Being ordit trained I can provide you with the necessary training to take your ADI exams.
Pass Plus Registered
I am registered by the DSA to give you the necessary training you will require to achieve your Pass Plus.
Fleet Trained
I'm qualified to assess a fleet of drivers and reduce the risks in their driving. This is aimed at reducing the personal and financial costs to a company or organisation of road traffic incidents involving staff and the public.
Refresher Training
Have you spent a while out of the car? Feeling nervous to get out driving again? I can help you get back out there. We can spend all day out on the roads and get you settled in.
